Academia de Ciências Policiais ACIPOL

Academy of Police Sciences, abbreviated by the acronym ACIPOL (https://sites.google.com/site/acipolmoz/), is a police institution of higher education that develops teaching, instruction, investigation and extension activities.ACIPOL is a legal person governed by public law, endowed with legal personality and enjoying scientific, pedagogical, administrative and disciplinary autonomy.

It was created by Decree 24/99 of 18 May. Academia de Ciências Policiais ACIPOL is headquartered in the province of Maputo and can carry out its activities in any part of the national territory. The Installation Process of ACIPOL was in charge of an Installation Commission, created by the ministerial order of 31 August 1999.ACIPOL was officially opened on 22 September 2000, in a ceremony presided over by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Joaquim Alberto Chissano.
